Another Vent Window Question
Yep, that's sort of why I'm replacing the rubber. I actually have to square up the window before I can close it (if I open it) and I have to get out of the truck to do that. Kinda discourages closing it at highway speeds.- Monson

Another Vent Window Question
My need to remove also comes from the problem that the drivers side is wobbly. My assumption is that there is a worn out mount of some sort that's causing this, otherwise I wouldn't even consider taking it apart..."if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"- Monson

Another Vent Window Question
I'm new here but I see lots of knowledge available out there. I'm planing on pulling the vent windows off my '84 Silverado so that I can replace the rubber, clean and paint them and replace/repair the hinges since they are loose. I see the brad/rivet at the top henge. I assume I need to cut...- Monson

87 Side Wing?
Vent Windows I was under the impression that all the vent windows were the same size..well on the '73 through '87's anyway. I just got back from a scrap yard and there are around ten square bodies...most look to be early '80's and all the vent windows are in tact. I'm going back next weekend...- Monson
