I found a 210°, I'm gonna give that a try here soon. Right now it is about 15° outside. I have the radiator almost completely block off with cardboard. Sitting at an idle it'll get to 195°. Driving down the road it'll drop to about 185°. Which I'm happy with. Still shouldn't be required to block...- 77Chevy

Yes it is a 195 T-Stat, and a normal flow water pump. The only thing I found to be odd was when I ordered the rad. I ordered one Without AC; 28 1/4 inch x 19 inch Core. When I went to install it, it was too large. Ended up getting a 28 1/4 inch x 17 inch Core; With AC. That seemed to be an exact...- 77Chevy

Also I should add, I installed a new timing chain, plugs and wires. I just double checked the timing and firing order. No issues there. At the moment the truck is running great and has no issues other than not holding temp driving. Thanks!- 77Chevy

Hi all I having an issue with my 77 K10. The truck will warm up to 190° at when not moving. As I drive it cools down to 160°. I've been fixing this truck up over the last couple months so here's what I've replaced. New Radiator (Old one was leaking) New T Stat- 195°, replaced again tonight...- 77Chevy

Thanks and thats strange it says the Camper special is only available on 20 and 30 models but i have a 10?? But everything it list for the C/S i have Im confused haha Edit it talks bout it on the second to the last page- 77Chevy

That makes sense and I know its Vinyl haha. I have all of those and I just remembered I have those vents that can open in the kick panels, I'm assuming standard on non A/C trucks. But Thanks everyone for the help and the Welcomes I got a lot to learn and a lot of info here- 77Chevy
