Are hood latches interchangeable between 76 and 77?
The handle for the 1976 is offset since the 76 grille has a bar running right up the midline. 77 you just reach right through since there is a grille hole right at the top center. Trash my dash? And interior panel take offs?
Will I regret throwing out my old red trim panels and dash? I love the new tan stuff I got from LMC. The old take offs are taking up a lot of space. They’re all faded and the dash is mega cracked. Replacing Outer Window Seals
Installed new today and got a couple removal/install photos to post. Old ones were as brittle as ceramic. Tips: a hook pick works to grab the clips, even past hardened rubber. Were plain grilles ever offered stock?
My 1976 C10 Custom deluxe has a plain grille, no bowtie. Would it originally have had one? Are all badgeless squarebody grilles aftermarket?
