    Drop in bed liner

I found mine on facebook marketplace for $40. Had a bit of a drive to get it though.

    Any experience with acme tools?

I have never had any further correspondence from them, even though I kept the email saying that my order had been cancelled, and then shipped anyway. I ended up going to Lowe’s and buying the metric set, so I still got both sets for about $22 total. I just have no explanation for how it worked...

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

Well, maybe I just got a dud set. Or, maybe they need to be used more. I’ve just always grabbed my Dewalt first. I used my new circ saw today just for a few minutes for a couple cuts, and it was smooth as butter. Much better blade visibility, and lighter than the kobalt I had.

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

I thought I’d continue to update the thread with my experiences. In addition to all the tools I’ve mentioned, I also have two different modular tool box sets. One is a husky connect system from Home Depot, and the second is the Klein modbox. The Klein is way overkill for my use, but it’s a...

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

Which one? I have a 1/2” impact wrench, and then I have a 1/4” impact driver as well.

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

It’s been a good one for sure. But impact technology has improved, and the dewalt I bought yesterday is 2/3’s the size of this one with similar specs.

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

I’ve got a sawzall that’s been used maybe three times, a circular saw that I used just to build a chicken coop, a 1/2” impact set with battery and charger, and a drill/driver set with charger and 2 batteries that I think I used the drill out of twice. All 24v. You can message me for prices.

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

After some wheeling and dealing, I have acquired a circular saw and mid tourqe impact wrench. After the rest of my kobalt stuff sells, I’ll pick up a couple 5 Ah batteries and I’ll be set. I know I’ve mentioned longevity and store support for kobalt as some of my concerns. I found out earlier...

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

Spotlight acquired….. again. Been researching their impacts, and even though there is a new in box compact one near me for a good price, think I’ll hold out for the mid sized one. It has similar specs to the one I have now. Probably gonna pick up one or two more work lights also. I have...

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

I blame a Milwaukee set for getting the wheels turning on this. I saw a set on marketplace (probably stolen, lost receipt and all) for $500 still in box. It retails locally for over $800. But after looking closer, I noticed everything was brushed motors. That made me start crunching numbers, and...

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

I picked up a sawzall today, and Lowe’s had a 2 pack of 4 Ah batteries on sale for $80 so I grabbed one. Home Depot has the spotlight on sale for $80, down from $120. Got my eye on that one next. Jeez I sound like an addict.

    Thinking about streamlining my tools.

(Sigh) my name is James, and I have a problem. So, I sold a pistol a week or so ago, and as one does with a bit of extra money, I set to trying to decide how to spend it. Because saving is for suckers. Anyway, I’ve decided to replace my perfectly good Kobalt stuff with Dewalt. Why? Absolutely no...

    Any experience with acme tools?

I haven’t opened them yet, I’ll give them until the weekend to request that I send it back. After that they’re getting added to my collection.

I should have known better than to order from acme lol

    Any experience with acme tools?

I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience with ordering from acme tools? I was just wasting some time when I found out about a sale they were having. Buy a set of SAE Wiha 3/8’s impact sockets, and get the Metric set for free. I had seen the sets at Lowe’s, and they are $20 each. The sale...

    Trailer tires

So these are National Road max ST, made in Vietnam, not sure how that compares to China. I’ll be sure to let yall know how they do for me, but it may be a while. I don’t use my trailer very often, but when I do it’s usually for several trips very close together.

GMC Savana, Plus a Chevy Express Now Too

I think we got mixed up. The KM’s are the mud terrain, and the KO’s are the all terrains. I was responding to 89 suburban talking about the all terrains which is what I had on my 06. I had a set of the KM’s on my jeep in high school. Those are hands down my favorite mud Terran. The KO’s were my...

GMC Savana, Plus a Chevy Express Now Too

I liked the ko 1’s the best, I got 65k miles out of a set I had on my 2006 k1500. I hate the newer tread pattern.

GMC Savana, Plus a Chevy Express Now Too

Imo, those were some of the best mud terrains they ever made. Great classic look, good road manners, and they dug like crazy. I hate that you can’t really get a “classic” mud terrain pattern anymore.

Oh yeah I see the difference now. I’m glad you pointed out the trailer tires, I was looking at the Camaro and scratching my head lol.

    Trailer tires

Figured I’d close this one out, I pulled the trigger on two new tires yesterday. National…. Something’s. My tire guy had them in stock so that’s what I went with. I got the 205 size, radial, load range D. These tires are rated for 81mph at 65 PSI cold, so I think they’ll do me justice. One thing...
