2WD 3/4T lift?
I know it sounds dumb, lifting a 2WD. But Id like to lift the front end especially, back end doesnt matter so much. Id like it to stand a little prouder. Do they even make lift kits for the front end of a 2WD truck?- belay70

C20 Tire size equivalents?
Probably a question for 3/4 to 1 ton owners more than anyone else, but what tire sizes and brands/models do you all run? Im restoring a 79 C20 and keeping original stock steel wheels with the bowtie alum caps, but wonder what size of tire people put on these trucks nowadays? Truck calls for... -

seperating 350 and 3 speed tranny
Pulled engine and tranny and cant get them separated. I can manage about a 1-2 inch gap between the engine rear and the tranny. Is there something that needs to be decoupled in the tranny before they'll come apart? Ive worked on a few engines/transmissions before and never had trouble before...- belay70

removal of brake booster?
Im tearing down my 1979 C20 and cant seem to find a way to release the brake booster. Master cyl is off, but cant seem to seperate the pedal linkage from the booster drum. I can see the snap ring of some sort holding in together behind/up under the dash, but wonder if there is a way to simply... -

crate engine or rebuild original 350?
Kinda two questions here - 1. What was my original engine horsepower rated at? Its a 1979 Chevy C20 with 5.7 350 and 3 speed manual 2WD. I found one reference that is might have been as low as 125hp?? Another mentions 175hp. Im astounded that stock horsepower would be that low on a 3/4...- belay70

drum to disc brake conversion on restoration 79 C20
Doing a frame up restoration on Dad's "Ol Blue" 1979 C20. Im hoping there is an accepted and standard drum to all-four disc brake conversion for these trucks?
