So I took it back apart this evening and saw the blend door clip lever is slotted. So there is a bit of adjustment that can be done. The screw was tight but I’m hoping it was just off from the get go. Gonna go ahead and replace the actuator anyways since I have it ordered. I’m hoping this will... -

Are u talking about the outside threaded rod that works in conjunction with the blender and vent door? I’ve tried every adjustment that I can, and the doors don’t bind or anything, air flows to correct places when I switch modes just doesn’t seem to have enough to close completely. It’s open... -

I can live with a little bit just mine seems excessive, I can physically close it all the way by pulling the rod, but it pushes against that spring so I have no clue. Bought a new actuator just for the hell of it, just hasn’t come in yet. I’m gonna have to take it back out and double check... -

Thanks, had everything apart replacing the heater core and was testing the operations of all the doors before finishing up, that’s when I noticed it. Checked everything I knew to check, just odd it would be such a gap like that. I understand minimal air coming through, but would a 1/2” gap from...- jayzon

Forgive me if this is posted elsewhere, if so I was unable to find it. Through countless YouTube videos and forums I still can’t find an answer. Is the hvac blend door supposed to close completely (flush) with the case when switching to defrost? And/or open fully when on max? It operates normal...- jayzon
