    Update, We changed the fuel tank switch this weekend and the fuel gauge is still not reading. So the sending units have been replaced, the tanks, and the fuel tank selector switch. It is ready to go to paint this weekend in time for Hot August Nights in Reno.

    Tangier Orange it is, we are prepping for a new paint job and tangier orange is coming through. We are going to paint it Grenadier Red which is a 1960 C10 color.

    I purchased a right and a left sending unit. Spectra Premium sells a driver and passenger side unit. The FG05C is the passenger and the FG05D is the driver side.

    The negative battery cable runs from the battery to an engine id tag on the intake manifold. The positive runs to the starter. There are more small wires. One goes to positive batter post on solenoid and the other runs to the R side or ignition side of the solenoid. 3 wires in total. .

    Over the weekend I installed a new starter on my 76 K20 with a 350. After installation I have zero power to the truck. I replaced the positive and negative battery cables. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the response. Yes I am looking for duel exhaust. The truck has a 350 in it and the current exhaust is pretty rusted from the truck sitting for years. Sounds like I am better off going with the 2.5 inch exhaust that is sold pretty much everywhere.

    Over the weekend I traced the wiring and all looks good. The driver side reads just over a quarter of a tank and the passenger reads just under a quarter of a tank. The driver side should be about 3/4 full so I thing the tanks will have to be pulled.
