I know that one side goes to the alternator and the other side goes to the heater fuse. Which is not blown.- Partsman

Ok, I spiced a 194 bulb and socket between the two brown wires. The bulb lights up when I start the truck, but doesn't go out and I'm not getting more than 12v out of the alternator- Partsman

Cluster repinned, no charge
I repinned the cluster on my 1987 chevy v20 Scottsdale and now the alternator doesn't kick on. Do I need to put a dummy light in line with the brown wire coming from the alternator?- Partsman

1987 V20 Drums stuck
Hey,I have been trying to change the brakes on my '87 V20 13 inch drums. I've tried penetrant, heat, a 2 lb dead blow hammer, backed off the shoes, a 2 1/2 lb sledge and I can't get it to move.Any ideas?
