I just bought the cable boot off eBay it was listed for a 3rd gen Camaro -

I bought it off of a Caprice in the junkyard several years ago cleaned it all up and painted it I had to modify the throttle bracket I got off eBay it’s a little thicker than a stock one so the cables don’t exactly snap into it -

Added engine bay light and in the middle of installing the cruise control with other gm parts. -

Needing help locating an air filter duct
Looking for an air filter duct for a 1988-1991 Suburban etc with a 7.4L 454, without spending an arm and a leg. eBay has a few but not in my price range. A 5.7L will not fit the air cleaner snorkel.- Hamgrease

I cleaned them well with totally awesome etc used SEM prep,adhesive promoter and Sem burgundy dye several coats -
What I started with, the 85
Present condition: new tires,caps,lug nuts, bands, all new lenses,led headlights (a huge improvement), grill, bezels,old school shine juice,bolt on exhaust,rebuild tilt column with new electrical switches installed inside it etc new wiper motor etc -

Sat for years in my backyard. Started preparing under the hood for refurbishing. New inner fenders, battery tray etc… -
The engine build
Everything for the fuel system was replaced minus the hardlines. Both tanks, sending units, filler necks,caps, selector valve, hoses, clamps, fuel pump,selector switch, had to repair the harness and added additional fuel filters between tanks and selector valve.- Hamgrease

Small block serpentine kit adapted , complete new cooling reverse flow water pump,rad, hoses,belt ,shroud fan clutch,heater core etc… New brake booster and master cylinder, cleaned and painted frame, inside fenders ,inside and outside of core support etc…- Hamgrease

Brake rebuild on my 85
Everything replaced except proportion value and hardlines. I also replaced the shocks with yellow Monroe’s after the pics. This was a factory 6.2L truck with factory heavy duty suspension brakes and shocks.- Hamgrease

Been slowly redoing my interior as time and money allows. Just a note if you’re replacing the vent door on an ac truck you’re going to have to fab a bracket to make it functional and I used a heater cable retainer to hold mine in place. -
Which aftermarket LED headlights?
Just wondering if anyone has tried Auxbeam led headlights on their 81 and up? I’ve used their bulbs in my 2003 Silverado and really like them. They have them on Amazon set of 4 projector style for $149.00- Hamgrease
