Rear axle: Welding on saddles at proper angle (due to lowering kit)
I would not mess with the carrier bearing. That extra joint is to help with long shafts and large angles at the end u-joints. If you are lowering the truck you are raising the axle and therefore making the u-joint angles smaller. Smaller angles are better. That means it is running straighter...- HankerCarl

I have done some cosmetic upgrades to her. This is what I bought. I converted to all LED lighting including headlights. Every square body that I’ve ever owned or been in with rear doors rattled so bad and needed constant adjustment. Ive never had as much noise from a tailgate.- HankerCarl

Barn door to tailgate conversion
Has any one on here ever converted from barn doors to a tailgate on a suburban? I have really been considering changing. Never was a real big fan of rear doors but saw her and decided to save her from the auction house. Any help would be appreciated.- HankerCarl
