It kinda surprises me that anyone knows how to steal an old vehicle anymore. What have you done to your square lately??
Ouch! We are not that bad off but here in WV we get pegged for taxes, registered or not. That leads to a fair amount of titles that get delayed, or never changed over. A lot of "skip" titles as well, it is common for sellers to not date their signatures out of habit. lol -

Before the cold snap, Painted the tail light housings, (that the PO apparently found too difficult to remove or mask before his cheap carmine red paint job) in a bright gloss white. Kind of an experiment to see if the white is any brighter than the factory silver. As soon as we get back up... -

New rear leafs, shackles, rear front hanger on D side, all new bolts, and monroe mag shocks all around painted hammered copper. -

Anyone have a good pic of the rear intermediate harness at firewall? I was reading a thread on reddit the other day and a fellow confessed to being an automotive engineer. I told him that now I had a name to go with my cussing of engineers and when his ears caught fire he would know I was working on something. LOL -

Side window defrost add?
Hmm,, If you had a floor console I wouldn't think it would be too big a project to run ducting to the back window and defrost both it and the side windows the from the rear. The trick would be to make the plumbing look decent and if there is enough airflow to pull it off. Booster fan? Or... -

Signal, Brake and Headlight Issues
These might make you feel better! Had a neighbor with an S10 once who was sure his fuel pump had failed, had the truck towed home, did without the truck until payday, bought a pump, pulled the bed, pulled the pump,, and it was dry. Hi everyone! First forum with new vehicle
Before you get too involved chasing the "park brake light" try this, Lift the park brake lever with your toe and see if the light goes out. The PB lever on my 86 C10 sometimes sticks just shy of turning the light off and needs a little help. Yours might also be lazy.- 86Apache

I also have been chasing D side blinker and brake light issues on my 82 K20. Just for grins I swapped in a functioning flasher unit from my 86 C10 and did get the D side marker to flash. What is everyone's go to for converting rusty frames nice looking frames
How far do you want to go and how much do you want to spend? I am just trying to get her on the road with a very tight budget, I went with corroseal for a converter and brushed on rustoleum gloss black. Looks fine and should last a few years.- 86Apache

Gauge needle color?
Thank you for the replies. I have also hunted through the interwebs and it looks like, short of changing gauges to a lighted needle or bulb colors, I am pretty much stuck with orange or red-orange if I want to be able to mark them at a glance after dark.- 86Apache

Painting interior trim
How badly worn are they? On my 86 C10 they were worn bad. Cleaned em good, sanded off the loose vinyl, hit them with a light coat of rattle can bed liner, duplo I think it was, gave em a very light sanding to knock the grit down a bit and rattle canned lightly over that. Certainly not factory...
