    Removed heater box from '81 C10 to replace the heater core, easier than I expected.

    Installed new lower radiator hose and heater hoses

    Installed new correct molded lower radiator hose and both heater hoses. Wanted both heater hoses in red but the local NAPA said red is discontinued and superseded by black. They had 3/4" by 5 feet in red so I took that in addition to the 5/8" by 5 feet black. Not worth a trip to other stores...

    Routing of blower switch wiring to firewall grommet?

    The 3 wires going from the blower speed switch to the firewall grommet are visible in my '81 C10. They droop down under the heater box. It appears to me that they should be routed up and over the heater box. Am I correct in this thinking?
