    Driver4rs trips to the junkyard

You can actually get to .550 without cutting guides, with a spring retainer swap IIRC.

    shackle flip?

the shackle at the rear of the spring is definitely a better design, for ride quality purposes. with the shackle at the front of the spring, as you hit a bump the actual will try and push forward ( as the front mount is the one that is not solid) into whatever you're trying to go over. this...

    1986 Chevy K10 - sucks for power :(

3.42s would be a best case scenario... Most of them got 2.73 or 3.08 gears.

    Air conditioner removal.

Replace the hoses, and the condenser, chase the wiring for the compressor. It's not a complicated system at all. If you convert to R134a, it's legal, and cheap to charge your own AC system.

    Wiper Blade Length Tip

I think it has more to do with the design of the wiper, than the length. both my gmt400, and my Taurus had conventional replacement blades. on my drive to work, with speeds approaching 80 miles an hour getting behind a semi truck and even slowing to 60, the blades would begin to lift...

    91 4L80E Pull - What do I need?

Every bit of the wiring harness you can get. Without all of it, the trans is useless.

Help me ditch the dreaded one wheel peel...

I'm guessing you're never actually driven a vehicle equipped with one. Once you get used to it, it's not bad at all. Makes a little noise, but not bad.

    Factory 86 AM/FM Cassette

I've got a nice factory radio from my 86 C10. 4 speaker radio, manual tune. Worked great when I pulled it several years ago. Very nice piece. $40 plus the ride.

    ladder bars

DIY4X Wraptor, won't bind your suspension like a ladder bar will, but will eliminate axle wrap. properly setting up a ladder bar setup will rputting the axles on a floating mount, way more work and fabrication than most people want to do.

350 build...need feedback and thought PLEASE!

A set of box stock Vortecs will shave $300 off of your budget. I would stick to an XE 262, possibly stepping up to an XE 268 if you're planning on upping the compression a little and running 4.10 gears or better.

Module on valve cover? (1986 GMC 350)

It wasn't, nor was the 350 available in a K10. What we have here is a classic "put this in, it will work" truck. Also explains the "wrong" manifolds, and the older air cleaner sticker.

350 build...need feedback and thought PLEASE!

Those heads aren't any better than box stock Vortecs. and if you are after torque, you are barking up the wrong tree with that cam.

So you want to use a Ford trans, and supercharger heads?

Need help, Driveshaft Yoke Muncie to A833.

if you're going from a bolt on yoke to a slip on, you need to change the entire drive shaft. The slip yoke will have a solid shaft, where the bolt on yoke will have a slip built-in to the drive shaft itself

    frozen front axle

If I were in your shoes, I would start by removing the front tire and looking for anything obviously binding. From there I would make sure the hubs are unlocked. Try rolling them by hand. If they still don't roll, remove the calipers. If they stilldon't move, then remove the locking hubs. If...

Get a regular timing chain cover for a newer TBI truck, as well as a timing set from a TPI Camaro or Corvette. Add a timing tab, and call it a day.
