It probably does need washed and all, but it was working and it got pulled all the way out by someone and wouldn't go back in. To me it would be worth the wait so I'm not going in blind. I see why you're confused, I'm looking for an after market tach along with a OEM gauge cluster printed circuit. A tach to sit on the dash and a circuit so that my gauges work.- 77scottsdale1
