    We took apart the grill and headlights. Changed out the bulbs and replaced the broken headlight clips/inserts. Cleaned the pealing paint off the chrome and sprayed some grey primer on the grill. Just a quick facelift and I think she’s looking much better.

    I used to be an active member. Life got in the way. Still got the old truck. Still best rig I got. Now my 16 yr old boy has caught the “sickness”. Bought himself a 1986 K5. Nice rig! I’m a proud papa.

    ^^^ this. When i swapped a 76 racetrack 205 in place of my 79 203, both crossmembers were the same. One hole is oval and you move the rubber mount over to compensate.

    I bought these off ebay because the bends looked the closest to the ones i was replacing They say they're for corvettes, but the reviews had a bunch of guys saying they were too long for the vettes, stuck out the bottom.     Why did my electric fuel pump die?

    I have an old no name(on the truck when i bought it) electric pump that’s been running fine(knock on wood) for the three years that I've had it. It sits just the other side of the frame rail from exhaust I can snap a pic at lunch tomorrow if that helps.

    Rear Disk Conversion/14 bolt

    I didn't have a hight sensing valve, but im running the stock prop valve. Its fine in normal day to day, but in a panic stop, without allot of traction, my rears lock up first. I plan on getting rid of the valve, t-ing the front, and putting an adjustable valve to the rear. Just havnt got to it yet.

I got two different looking calipers in the kit(probly would have worked fine)and i ended up using some 3/4 ton calipers i had laying...

    I m south of rolla too. Winona, Mo. How many of us are in the southern/central part of Missouri? Maybe we need to have a meetup around here somewhere. I have property with plenty of camping space. Not too far from the jacksfork and the current rivers.
