:welcome: from northern IL! Swap is pretty straight forward. You'll need bigger u-bolts for the rear and the top plate for the 3/4 ton axle, the rear u-joint is going to be bigger. The front should just bolt right up and should be the same u-joint, just make sure you use new u-bolts. 8 lug...- TubeTruck

77K20 was spot on with the airing down and narrow wheels with wide tires definitely help to keep the tire on the rim without beadlocks. My old truck had a Detroit locker in the rear and ARB up front. The small ARB compressor works good to air up tires if you have a storage tank.- TubeTruck

Yeah, I would say TX to ND is more than a "bit of a drive" lol Illinois, especially southern IL and MO have plenty. For a 14bolt full floater around $200 is good. Dana 44 or 10 bolt front, $50-$100. I find sets all day for $2-300. If you're looking for a Dana 60 SRW front those are $1200+...- TubeTruck

Yup, 14 bolt Semi Float and 10 bolt front. I'm building a 10 bolt for my truck also. Just take your time and do everything right. You don' want to get them together and get them in only to have to tear into them. On a Side note I wouldn't use pool sand. Silica is VERY bad to breath in. Check...- TubeTruck

How Will My Square Body Look With XX Lift and XX Tires?
Lol. 6" front spring with longer shackles, I think it adds about 1/4". Rear is 3" spring, 2.5" shackle flip and 1.5" longer shackles. So more like 7" in the rear (or maybe it was 4-1/2" shackles giving it 1/2" more, I don't remember lol). Tires are Super Swamper IROK radials, 39.5x13.5x16. Turns...- TubeTruck
