Does anyone repop these? I know the High Sierra ones are available, but can't seem to find a base truck emblem. I repainted mine and will use it as it's good enough for a daily driver until I can find a new one
These were on the truck when I bought it in 2019. Yeah I know. Why did it take you so long to change them? Got the most important stuff fixed: U-Joints and carrier bearing, sway bar bushings, Carb etc.
New rear shocks. The old ones we're pretty well trashed. Hopefully these will eliminate some of the bouncing when I go over holes, ruts, etc. When I go around a corner and there are holes in the blacktop, it feels if the truck jumps as it goes around the corner. Roads here suck!! ADOT likes to...
I wish I could restore my 84 GMC grille, but it's too far gone. I only have to mounting points to hold it in and that's the 2 screws on top. Few fins broken out like most of them. I cleaned and painted it in 2019 when I got the truck and hoping it don't come out while driving
I used to have a 65 Suburban, which had an underbody carrier on it, but the original owner took it off and made this for it. Simple steel bracket with all thread that goes through the rim with a plate over the center hole.
Id like to have one of the speedo/fuel gauge units out of a C60 for mine. I found some online but over $300 is a lot of money for one gauge and not even guaranteed to work
This was my 65 Suburban. The gold/Fawn color was the 6 lug ones I had before I converted the front to disc brakes and a 5 lug setup. The green are the 5 lug Rally wheels I got in trade for some chrome smoothies I had on it after the disc swap. Painted them body color similar to what GM did back...
Thos look like factory 4x4 rally wheels. I had some on my old 65 Suburban before I converted to disc and went to a 5 lug. Slots on 4x4 VS 2wd are different
Does anyone have stock hubcaps and trim rings on their wheels, both half and 3/4 ton? I'm wanting to put trim rings on my 3/4 ton but want to see what they look like first. My wheels are stock steelies in the factory white. Thanks
That's why I use Rock Auto more now. Lot of the same stuff at a whole lot less. I just did the rear discs on ou 03 Crown Vic police interceptor, and for $96 I got 2 rotors and all 4 pads. One rotor at Autozone start at $86.
Found these on the Dee Zee site. I'm looking at getting some for my 84 C2500 eventually. My fronts are set as I have running boards with "built in" flaps
My favorites are the old metal 1 gallon can like paint stripper comes in. Strip them, paint them to match the vehicle and have lettering(Water, Fuel etc.) put on them. I've seen them in classics at car shows.
My 84 Sierra 2500 has an aftermarket engine. It was quite difficult, but I managed to get the casting number off the back of the block as well as the number on the front
Front number is: MC25353 Rear casting number is: 10066036. Can y'all tell me if mine is a 1 piece or 2 piece? Thanks
