    Vent Window/Back Window Questions

I disagree. The vent windows were the worst part of my whole project! Parts that were shipped wrong, added to the parts that were unobtanium. The only thing that went smooth was the rivet replacement, only cause me and rivets are bff's. I would buy a set from the junk yard and send them out...

New to me truck/ what should i go through and look at

Put it on a lift, or better yet. Jack it up, put it on jack stands, take the wheels off, and look at everything. Lie on your back on a creeper, have a couple cold ones, look at everything. Look at everything and learn stuff. If its greasy oily or dirty, clean it. If it leaks fix it. If it...

    Parts suppliers, apples to apples

My go to parts house is a independent. Been in the biz for 40 years, his son is now working there! He belongs to several parts groups and can pull parts from a lot of different whare houses. I recently went to get a set of six batteries for the gold mack. I pulled around back with them and...

    Transtar 2k Epoxy Primer Problem

I would give it 2 days in the sun for the " old college try " and then if it is still no joy, I would scrape some of the gummy $hit off the bed and go down to the shop and ask for some " splaining". Even in cold conditions that epoxy primer should have cured by now. Eric

Totally un related but, the office came out to the shop wanting receipts to match up to the 1,400.00 bill from napa for last month. I just laughed and asked " so you are not going to pay for my 750 double pumper?". The sad thing is no one got the joke and now I am on the $hit list with the...
