Door weatherstrip
Post some pics of the weatherstrips you have concerns about. Easier to give advice when we can see what's going on. Windshield weather strip is a real pain to install. You have to work it in the corners like hell. After a few weeks it shrinks/sets and fits like it should. -
Gas to Diesel swap, question on fueling
With a 6 port pollack style tank selector valve. The return lines a switched simultaneous with fuel lines.- ali_c20

GMC Hood Ornament
Some red pigments are very sensitive to sunlight. They break down and completely "disappear" The plastic is clear and the paint is behind it. Wiper Motor Mounting Screws '84 C10
10/24 ×1 These are special bolts with a taper and star washer to center the grommet. You can get kits with grommets and bolts. The ebay speedway motors link is for a screw only set. The same screws were used on many gm cars and trucks. LMC ebay ebay speedway motors- ali_c20

Wiring Harness? Choosing one?
I used painless harnesses for my wifes 69 Mustang and a friends 77 K5. Installation was easy. Instructions are good and the customer service replied within 12 hours via mail and answered a question I had.- ali_c20

When you rip it out of a Ford truck it's a ford part ;D The dual intake pump setup is the best solution imo.- ali_c20

Thou shalt not put them Ford parts into Chevies. ;D The 1990 7.3 uses a mechanical fuel pump to feed the injector pump. Using the mechanical fuel pump that is on the engine would be the easiest way. No new sending units, no wiring work on the valve. Replacing a broken mechanical fuel pump is...- ali_c20

Jack operation
My 79 K5 jack has more sections and extends more. It works but it's really scary to lift the truck with that thing. The jack design could have changed over the years when locking at the jack decals and also be different for C and K trucks. The 79 jack looks like this: -

Steering stabilizer K30 install
When the taper is fully seated everything it's ok. When you loosen the nut the bolt should sit tight in the tapered hole and need force to remove it (like tie rods) If it's coming loose easy check if the taper angles match or if something else is interfering.- ali_c20

Welcome from Austria. Post some pics. Transmission is direct fit if both trucks have the same transmission. Driveshaft length. Axle width. Spring perches. That's my first guess what to look at.- ali_c20

C20 to c10
You could swap all suspension, steering and brake components from your C10 to the C20 as the engine crossmembers and mounting points are the same. You could even swap the whole crossmember.- ali_c20
