Where to get pre-bent fuel lines?

On my 2005 I replaced the fuel lines with the nylon/plastic/hdpe/un-obtainium or whatever that material is. Just a thought.

    Gas Gauge woes

Your fuel gauge issue may not be related to needle bumping. Google "GM fuel gauge troubleshooting" and start there. Give a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man to fish, he eats for life.

    hood ding repair

Grinding and filling the dings would be the least expensive, mig the cracks with .023 solid core wire & Ar/Co2 gas, or replace the hood.

16.5's are still available from Firestone to name one, some for trucks, more for trailers and lots for skid steers. My '74 had 16.5's with one piece rims.

Do I need new door hinges, springs, or pins/bushings?

The fenders can stay on. You'll need a floor jack, short chunk of 2x4 and a helper to steady the unhinged door while installing the replacement hinges.

    Manifold vacuum Tee

If it's not a 100 point restoration, sometimes the plumbing department at a local hardware or big box store will have something that will work.

Do I need new door hinges, springs, or pins/bushings?

My vote also is for new hinges, both upper & lower. I never could understand the thinking on the thru the dash hinge bolt. My '55.1 has that setup for the hood hinges.

    frame difference

If you can salvage the cab mounts off of the p/u frame and use them on the sub's frame it should work. Use the fuel tank from the sub, make a flat bed and your good to go.

Does the switch have to be on the column? What about using a floor mounted headlight high/low beam switch? Could even wire up an indicator light.

    Making headers fit

That don't look right. I've never seen an adapter plate that would make those fit. Are they correct for the engine/heads? I'd find a SBC iron head to verify the spacing.

    '83 K10 / 350 / SM465: shuddering from first and a nasty sound under load

My vote is to replace the clutch. Stay away from the three finger style pressure plate and the hockey puck type of disc, also replace the pilot bushing. Should I have recommended to dump the clutch?
