Any tricks to getting your SB doors to close easier?

Door bushings are OK. Plastic is gone, but the stikers are greased. Does the plastic help?

Any tricks to getting your SB doors to close easier?

Gotta slam the doors on the K5 to get them to close. Its annoying. I tried messing with the door seals, adjusting the striker, lubing everything, etc. No luck. Thoughts?

K5 bed floor level under carpet

Padding would "reduce" the number of imperfections in the appearance of the rubber floor lining. It would also reduce noise in the cabin.

    Rough country lift

Ya, I think I'm around 20 - 25 if memory serves. Lower pressure does help. I wonder how much handling control Im losing with that low of pressure. Any insight?

    Manifold and ported vacuum

I looked into this a lot! I read lots of info on various forums. Answer: Try one, then try the other. use which ever one you like the best. If they both seem the same, then just leave it where ever it landed and move on.

    87 y-pipe

Might now work in your situation, but you may need some speed dents. I paid some guys to install a lift kit on my truck, and half way through the install, they said that I needed to take my rig to an exhaust shop to get the exhaust modified in order for the lift kit parts to fit. What? I went...

I would take it to the auto parts store and say "I need one of these". They should be able to match it up in size, shape and electrical connection.

For a stop leak, they do make this - and its a fantastic product that usually works very well. But not in this case.

The nail is an imitative idea. So you remove the brake line from the wheel cylinder, install a shortened nail into the brake line, and then reinstall the bake line. That's all there is to it?

    REDS NECK REPARES!~

That's not a bad idea, but you would have to drain the fluid from that chamber or the plug would blow out. But ya, that would work. I'm curious about that nail idea. Could it damage the cone on the slave cylinder? Although I guess that would not matter, since it would be replaced during the...

I'm stumped! Looking for BENCH seat sleeves for seat belts.

For mine, I wrap a cable around the bottom of the buck, and then attach the other end of the cable to a small rag. Then I stuff the rag between the seat and seat back, and it holds the buckle right where I want it to stay. Not sure if this would work for your setup, but it may be a temporary...

    REDS NECK REPARES!~

Fixing the seal and replacing the shoes would be ideal, but I'm try to find a temporary fix until the proper repair is done. So adjusting the brakes would not help, unless I am incorrect. But there must be something that could be sprayed into the drum that would decrease friction. Graphite...
