    Replacing fuel lines 5.7 L

Tube is bolted to bellhousing and then just comes out the seal area on trans. I did not have to take the transmission dipstick tube out when doing the fuel lines, but don't remember exact details

    another elco

Some throttle linkage brackets been a bit wrong from when I changed to electric choke. Was going to buy a new one. But after looking at the prices, modified original had to work. Washers and a welder to the rescue. Now been thinking about AC. It lost all charge completely, so guessing not...

    Another AC Thread: Which compressor??

One in my 71 elco leaks enough to need a charge once a year. R12 is expensive to fill it once a year, so I stopped refilling it for now. Need to revisit it again as temperatures go up.

36-3582 Headlight harness 89-91 with custom headlights

Was being stupid and sold it. The buy back attempt the same day with some cash for trouble did not work. Was forcing my self not to spend money on it in a way, but ended up being in a worst spot. Maybe it is better, as it is one less forever vehicle

    Steering gear rebuild - FAIL

Did the power steering work before the seal blew out? Would venture maybe the pump having an issue if it worked before the seal popped. Or top it off with fluid and just go on a longer drive to see if it settles.

Did not think much of the front calipers. Kicked my self for trusting the seller on the 8.2 diff and not taking a closer look at it. Was in a hurry, so just loaded it and it stayed in the back until the zr2 axle went away as I had no space. Once I got it out, quickly realized that it was 8.2...

I am confident whoever wrote that one off did not know what they had. It was clean. I grabbed the rear end to use for my 67 camaro and then due to various misadventures have lost it. longer version: Bought a direct bolt in 8.5 instead, sold the zr2 axle and then found that 8.5 was really 8.2...

GMC Savana, Plus a Chevy Express Now Too

Agree on a van, just not much on the yellow part. I liked the access from front seats to back in a van when we drove the e350 around. Brefer the gm version. Especially the stability control thing been acting up on the e350 van lately

    Steering gear rebuild - FAIL

If I remember correctly, first should turn back and forth with engine not running. But generally never had issues with just running and turning the wheels following by a short trip. Back when I first bought a reman from autozone, it blew out on the first long trip and killed the power...

Seal not seated all the way with snap ring? I would put the reman box in the bench and go through adjustment procedure before putting it in if it is a standard parts store reman
