    Easier way to check if it getting trash in pickup is to disconnect hose behind the cab and blow back the line. If it gets better, then there is trash in the gas tank

    411 ecu can be set up as a stand alone trans controller. Drive shafts, tcase or tcase input shaft/speed sensor, Throttle body position sensor. Easiest path is finding 91 donor, but they are not that common.

    33" tire and occasional towing with trails to me means 4l80e is needed. But if built correctly 700r4 should hold.

    Some have better connections and seals. Like the one below. But even most factory underhood fuse blocks were not sealed.

    New accumulator, orifice tube, clean the rest of the system and new hoses/compressor should be able to get it going. Electric fan and a new condenser improve things a bit

    Don't have on the road picture yet, but harness is installed. Relay box came from 94 3000gt and wiring was donated by a 2008 corvette. New ceramic plugs. Last picture is the halogen vs cibie with h4 bulb(a step higher power)

    '97 350 Vortec wont start, need help.

    It will run if within 30* or so, but throw a code if greater than 18ish * from zero. Scan tool needed to adjust. Also checking for spark at coil or spark plug? Vortec specific distributor caps have bad reputation for actually working.

    Nothing exciting, another long past due task, repack front wheel bearings and set them up correctly. Had too much play prior. Hopefully will get some night headlight shots tomorrow to start comparison on headlight changes.

    37s on a half ton with a 12 bolt with 4.10 gears

    I run 37s with 4.10 axles, but 14 bolt ff in rear. Front 8 lug 10 bolt. For daily type driving gears are actually ok for me. With wore out 305, dump truck acceleration. For serious off-road, better gears would be nicer.

    There Is a seal inside tail housing on output shaft. Or replace with a yoke that is missing one spline and non vented to outside

    That is not a stock bracket, so cable would need to be crimped in the correct spot to make up the difference

    Clean ls swap will not hurt, but not necessarily greatly increase value. Poor swap will hurt the value
