ya took another look at it, could be done but it wouldnt look right. i agree with aftermarket gauges, but im running out of money. i saved the sending units out of the big block so i could use my old gauges i just need an electric speedo.- 87lsxgmc

I was thinking of swapping my 2000 cluster in, looks like alot of hacking and slashing to complete, and probably wouldnt look right when done either, just wanted to see if anyone on here had tried, or done it. searched it, didnt come up with anything. thanks, Paul- 87lsxgmc

what is the easiest way to swap an LS motor into a K10?
what do you use the truck for? a th350 is hands down stronger than a stock 4l60e, you could split it up and just drop the motor in, and get an adapter plate for your converter and run the th350. for a little bit more hp is it worth it, thats up to you and your goals with the truck, imo the ls...- 87lsxgmc

help identifying a 700r4 and how to swap in place of T400

LQ9 swap motor mounts

th400 to 4l60e swap
i took out a 454/th400, ill be swapping a 5.3/4l60e, but my question is what do i need for a driveshaft. long bed 2wd, my old set up had a carrier bearing, with no slip yoke at the trans. im guessing a 700r4 2wd long bed drive shaft would be the same? thanks for the help Paul- 87lsxgmc

im about to do a 5.3 conversion on my 87. im fixed on going injected since i have a donor truck with everything i need, but to run a carb is just too damn easy. anyone whose been around carbs long enough knows you can dial them right in. if i didnt tell you my camaro was carbd you would think...- 87lsxgmc

if your worried about wiring, and tune and all that stuff, when i swapped a ls1 into my camaro, i did a carb conversion. 6010 msd box for ls engines are real easy to wire up, mostly plug and play. hook up to a lap top to set the timing. for your ac, youl have to adapt the old lines to the new...- 87lsxgmc
