    k30 vs k30 cucv lift kit

    Trying to find a lift kit for my K30 CUCV project. Im transferring everything from my 87 k20 to my 85 k30 cucv frame. My k20 has a 6" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. I may buy a new lift for the k30 cucv but not sure if a regular k30 lift from skyjacker would fit. Does anyone know?

    Did you check fuel pressure? Could possibly be a failing fuel pump, I had similar symptoms and fuel pump solved it for me

    Im most likely gonna pull all 3 together and swap them onto my new frame. Do you think the stock brackets from GM mounted on 2 of the intake bolts diagonal to each other would be able to handle all the weight?

    Ok so I am just about ready to install my engine, tranny, and tcase onto my new 1 ton frame. I will be removing the front clip of my truck and installing it on the new frame. Is there any way to remove all 3 at once?

    what frame will work????

    I actually would prefer a 1 ton frame but wouldn't there be many mods needed to make it work? Like do you know if the body mounts would line up? Also didn't a lot of those military trucks have the 6.2 diesels in them (not sure if they have diff mounts than a 350)?

    Although I wouldn't begin this project for a few weeks if its even possible but my 87 came from the factory w/out a headliner, so my question is if anyone ever installed one?

    thanks for all of the input, Im gonna try to find a 3/4 ton 4x4 long bed frame within the 81-87 because I really dont feel like having to make many modifications. I just want everything to line up nice n easy but then again nothings easy.
