    "oh crap" handles...

I like how he drinks the syrup. Haha but I don't see that handle being that much help getting in. It's too far back. But that's a damn nice looking truck billy bob has there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    "oh crap" handles...

I still don't see why this is needed. This all seems to be for repairing or cutting the frame. Can I not just bolt them to the frame? Or weld? Or do you mean just use the same diamond principle for the mounts to avoid stress points? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    "oh crap" handles...

By fishplate to the frame, you mean just have a large mounting plate going to the frame? Because my understanding of a fishplate is used to repair a cracked or cut frame etc. is this just to reduce stress on the frame? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is fish plating? Those sliders seem way stronger than I need.. But I'll talk to my cuz. He's building a 69 GMC for off-road. Maybe he is already making a set similar to what I need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    "oh crap" handles...

Does anybody have a plan to build some? And it would need to have a decent step built in. I don't have spare cash because I'm planing to move soon, so I'd rather not buy a set. As for handle, the front pillar? That seems like the most convenient place. Or maybe above the door? The pics of the...

    "oh crap" handles...

Where can I find a design for sliders? What about a roll/light bar? I was thinking about these bully steps (http://m.summitracing.com/parts/plt-as-600). But if I can get some sliders made all the better. I have a cousin who's a welder/fabricator by trade. For a case I beer and materials I can...

    "oh crap" handles...

That's GMT right? How could I attach one in my 77? Is there enough steel there to bolt it in? I was thinking a length of pipe bent with two 90• bends on each of the ends and flattened ends for bolts?

    "oh crap" handles...

Where would be the easiest place to install a handle? Somewhere that would stand up to the abuse of people pulling themselves into the truck. I don't want torn sheet metal and someone falling to the ground...:( Currently I have no dash (few months that way after I ran it over with my JETTA) so...

    77 Chevy K10 Shortbox

HI everybody, I am looking at buying a 77 K10 and was wondering if you could tell me everything to pay attention to when looking at it. The asking price is $2000 and it comes with a set of tires (30%) and some decent winters not on rims. its a 350 on propane about 100000km on the rebuild. auto...
