It sits at about 550 when idling in drive. In park it's around 800. Maybe a little more. I'm afraid my neighbor did a half ass job on the rebuild. It is entirely possible there is some other issue. I believe the vac advance is working properly due to when I disconnect it the motor runs a little rougher. This is where I have been hooking up the vac gauge. The timing is set at 8* before tdc, which is from what I understand the best place to...- John81287

Ok so I broke down and bought a vac gauge for testing purposes. At idle, at temp the vac gauge is reading around 7. According to the instructions that came with it it should be between 17 and 22 for a properly tuned carb. Ok great so I go to adjusting the screws and get little to no change...- John81287

seat swapping?!
Mine required floor to be cut on my V20 I don't have any pics as my conversion is not yet complete. Hopefully be done this upcoming week. The problem I had with my truck is the hump in the floor for the fuel tank sat too high and my head was about and inch from the roof. Not real comfortable...
