    So I have that right you measure the length of the bracket then divide it in half and that is the lift you get.

    Ok so It is a 1 ton shackle so from what ure saying is that i divide it about half so doesn't that mean that i should get about 6 inch of lift. The shackle is 11 inches.

    It is a 80 blazer frame So if I run 56s and move it back 4 inches will that give me 8 inches difference from stock.

    Well I did some research most people said that it was about 4 inches. I have not yet done it so I cant tell for myself.

    Hello What is the downside to flipping the shackles to give you some lift. I have been doing research on it and it is supposed to give a cheap strong lift.     Well I know that Chevy started to make the back shorter than the front for better steering. Im just trying to find out which one I have because 1 ton axles were not shorter so The 14 bolt bible will help thanks.
