    Ok i can't locate it. I've checked as long as i could with a mirror and flashlight on top of the frame on the passanger side. Is it on top of the frame between the frame and cab or am i searching on the wrong spot? If i were to stamp new frame vin is it important where i stamp it?

    Just wanted to tell this even though i'm kinda embarassed :p The problem i had was that i didn't bleed the brake master cylinder (didn't even know u had to). So i switched out the proportion valve, brake pipes and even the master cylinder all in vain :(( *cries*

    Wow thanks i was really wondering how it worked! Recived the proportion vavle today so i think i'll just go ahead and install it. Any tips before i switch it? Seems to be kinda tricky :p

    Also when i hit the brake pedal and try to open the bleeding screw on the rear brakes the pedal just moves extremely slow downwards or almost nothing at all (though the oil seems to poor out just alittle bit more when hitting the pedal when opening the screw)...must be the propotiong valve?

    Think i'm going crasy here :( Tried to do as you said but it doesn't seem to work.. i even went so far that i disassembled the rear drum brakes but nothing was wrong there. One strange thing happened when we tried to remove the air from the rear brakes..just when the brake oil was about...

I have no idea if the rear brakes worked before i removed the brake cylinder but i really have no brakes at all now when i'm trying...

    Ok i wont be doing any bodylift then i guess. I've looked around in the forum and 78 chevyrado:s pickup seems just the way i want it and he had 1.5"blocks at the rear and stiffer spring up front. Is this something i can find at summitracing or where should i order from and which brand? :Insane:

    No that was the thing... i looked for over a year here in Sweden but couldn't find anything worth buying and there wasn't much of'em. Think i might have overpayed tho if you count all the shipping and taxes costs but i just wanted a c10 :).

    Think the crack is slightly more to the left but just about right!. Doesn't feel quite allright building a new engine with that crack in mind but thanks for the answer! I need to think about it :)
