    You can get away with a stock drive shaft initially on a 6"......just won't be able to flex out too much. I had a stock DS for a while. Drive shaft angle needs to be addressed regardless as soon as its lifted whether standard DS or Double Cardon. I hear some kits come with a shim to offset DS...

    Murphy would not leave me alone today...but....got one side done. Swapped out my carnaged outer axle from 30 spline to 35 spline chromoly with Yukon locking hubs. Damn spindle bearings was shot and would not come out without a fight. Other side should go much quicker tomorrow morning.

    I believe the K20 is the same frame as the K10 (same years). The shackle flip is very do-able. You will néed the 56" springs (as you stated), ORD or DIY4X shackle flip. For four inches of lift I would go with a 4" to 5" shackle (just a good guess-timation). The size of the shackle will vary...

    Not only did I bust my front driver outter axle and locking hub on the D60 this past weekend but apparently have a hair line crack at the steering box.....yay! Ordered 35 spline chromoly outter axles, Yukon chromoly locking hubs and steering box weld kit. Going to busy over the next week or so.

    Ignition issues.

    Well....the threat didn't work for long. Ended up being the bolt at the starter. Since I had the ignition switch, swapped that out also....kind of a pain but at least I know the Ignition Switch is new. I will caveat....it started three times in a row anyways but sounded like a cleaner start...

    Ignition issues.

    Thanks for all the input guys. I picked up an ignition switch today in case that is the problem. I will be checking all my connections first thing tomorrow then if all is good there, I'm going to change out the ignition switch. FYI....no issues at all today.
