    Running boards that runn down the side and to the bed for a 1986 crew cab

    Tafco Equipment in Blue Earth MN used to make them as well. Bad part is that they quit making them. Maybe able to find some yet but most likely they wont be new, at least the Tafco ones. I have some buddies that work there can see if there is a set laying around by chance.

    Got my new tank selector switch and put it in. Nothing major but looks so much gooder. Other than that just driving it everyday.

    MMMMMMM!! I had a few of those last night while I packed up my hunting clothes and bow for this mornings deer hunt. Oh so tasty. I like the bottle opener on the bumper.

    New truck....maybe

    Got everything lined up to go get it, a 3 hr drive or so one way, and got a call from the guy saying he sold it. We were only 10 miles down the road so wasnt to bad. Wish I was closer so I couldve gotten it. Was well worth the $1500 I think. Didnt get a call back on the other one so I am waiting...

    which is better for worKshop insulation

    insulation I would have it spray foamed as well. Absolutely no air gaps in that, (if its done right). If thats not an option blown in cellulose would be my next choice. Easy to use and non itching. Just my opinion.

    cab Visors

    Thats what ive used on bugshields also, had one on my old 84 but it was on there when I got and never looked at how it was fastened on. i only had it for a few days before i sold it. I am going to use the pan head screws and try to get it on tomarrow. Thanks much guys.

    I wentto the local junkyard around home looking for some interior parts today and ended up scoring a cab visor that is just about new. One scratch in it is all and its only about an 1.5" long. There is another one out there that is in good shape just paint peeling off also, this one has lights...

    So I headed out to the local junkyard today, found just what I was looking for. A truck with the same interior. Got my armrest and a few odds and ends pieces for spare parts. Also scored a cab visor. Pretty good day i guess, got everything for $30!!! Should say very good considering the kids...

    i am replacing the pullstrap and armrest on the drivers side of my 87, the problem I have is i am not sure if its dark gray or dark blue. The truck is black and silver, so am not sure if it would be blue. The gray that LMC and Summit have is very light compared to what is in my truck. I dont...

    Whats up everyone? New to the site a week ago but just getting around to say hi.:wave: I have an '87 k10. Have had numerous half ton squarebodies, but this by far is the nicest. From south central MN. Will get some pics up soon.
