    What does Rough Country Recomend

I know when I looked it for my ride the back spacing should be 4.5, other wise you will rub on the turns. With the 4" you can run 35" tires street and 33" for off road. With the 6" you can run 37" street and 35" off road. So if you are running it as a mall crawler then 35" will be fine...

    Vacuumed issue...I think.

Sounds like it's an older engine common problem then. I was thinking of putting an electronic inline pump and just plate the hole for the mechanical pump but that means running a return line.:whymewhyme:

Long tube or short tube headers?

I'm actually going to use my stock manifolds. Only thing I'll do is take em off and get at em with the dremmel to smooth out the inner surface area. I am also going to take the heads off and do the same to the intake and exhaust. In my opinion that will cast less with the same power gains...

Thinking about a 6" lift with 35's then re-gearing or rebuilding 3/4tons to throw under it. Then fab up a roof rack and a winch bumper. Also going to replace the dead ass carpets in the back and on the backs of the back seat with some cushiony rubber mat material I saw in merdocks. This thing...

    Beginners Advice to the Quadrajet

I would say they all have their place but the q-jet is the beast imho even if it's a bummer getting going. If your going / have to go carb for off-roading its the only one to go with.

Have you looked at LMC Truck? they have factory radios as well as retro style moderns. Not bad on price either.

    Beginners Advice to the Quadrajet

Hmmm.... Q-jets are awesome carbs but they are the most finicky. I will say after the rebuild I don't have to stuff my toes into the engine compartment to get it to go 50 up a hill, so I would say an overall win there.

    Vacuumed issue...I think.

So since I have owned this Beast in the morning I have to put my foot all the way to the floor toget gas back to the carb, also when I come out of the drive way and romp on the pedal the poor carb starves out and I get a hiccup or two then it beats feet. I rebuilt the carb and it still has the...
