HAHA yup thats how i feel on my 77 sne gets about 4 -5 miles to the gallon . you can watch the fuel gauge go down while driving that guzzler- sidschev

Defroster not working
Thats how i got my line to seal extra good was a piece of shrink tubing get it tight then slide the other tubing over it. makes for a nice tight seal -
gas gauge goes back an forth when im moving.

gas gauge goes back an forth when im moving.
both my 77 an my 84 do this. is there a way to stop that so i can get an accurate reading of fuel. drives me nuts when the fuel gauge goes back an forth while im moving the truck...- sidschev

Defroster not working
both make sure you have vacuum there . there should be vacuum at each line . if not then theres yer problem. i just got mine all working. -
Cowl Screen
haha drill a hole in the base and add tree killer. next year its dead.... i like the screen idea by the way. sounds like a good way to keep smaller trash out. Im gunna look into this as well. Thanks fer that idea . i just cleaned out mine and it had some small debris in there.....- sidschev

Dead battery
i had a brand new car batt died (ie wont start ) put in a new bat fired right up ,ONE year later exactly the car no start , had full voltage in batt. still car no start. turned out the batt was bad again. it was one of them new fangled batteries and with those batts one volt that is dead in...- sidschev

was this a diesel truck before or is it still. daul batts might have been a plow truck too....anutter reason for daul batts....agree with others isolate the second batt then do draw test......- sidschev

sounds like a grounding problem. check grounds (ie remove them grounds and reinstall them grounds )='s new contact for grounds. maybe sand them a bit as well....- sidschev
