    Made an attempt at detailing my interior. Pretty nasty, going to take a few scrubbings. I’m digging the bench seats. Need to order some springs, she’s sagging bad. Going to make a nice work truck.

    Yeah, same heads, im not gonna pull my hair out, just glad it’s running at a better temperature. A drilled t stat is a cheap easy fix.

    Drilled and installed a t stat, Installed a retro sound stereo, one lmc headlight (they made it sound like a set), noticed the entire ac bracket was loose, removed it and the water pump, tapped out a broken bolt in the head, reinstalled said parts and made another list.

    I’d say it’s a loss. Unfortunately. I bought a 90 that just needed a trans pump. I’m probably 13k deep. Cheaper to find another and keep yours for “parts??? I’m looking for a rear passenger full quarter. Real bummer. Sorry for your loss.

    It’s the original motor, just rebuilt. Heater works like it should. I had the ac bracket and water pump off today and the third hole is open on the passenger side.     Well, it got up to the first line past 210,so 240ish kicked back down to the first line, 140ish and stayed there. Better than before, but do I have a blocked bypass? And where is that located at?

    Alright, this is beating me up. Fresh rebuild, I have burped it, ran 3 different t stats, different temp t stats, verified the correct water pump, new fan clutch, and it still isn’t right. Without a t stat it sits at 120-130, Idling or driving. Ive been driving it as many as 50 miles at a time...

    Trans braces not installed when motor went in, can I fix with a little welding/fab work?

    I’m thinking ac brackets. Although I found some holes on the alternator side, but these don’t match up.

    Upon further review, we are pulling the motor mounts and installing correctly. Still don’t know what the small braces are for. Was thinking alternator but they don’t work there.

    So the trans to motor mount k braces were not installed when everything went in. I’m thinking of making a bracket that bolts onto the motor mount to fix it after the fact. Don’t want to delete them. And at this point I don’t want to pull the motor out Also not sure where these go.

    90 V2500 Burb restoration

    I’m doing a 90 v2500 as well. 1200$ needs a tranny pump, turned into a new trans, then the motor blew, so new motor and a 4” lift. I’ll be in it for ten grand easy after tires and before paint.
