This is the type of fitting I have. The part that is lose is the tube coming out of the fitting under the word "AUTO". The pipe will move slightly in and out.
I've never used AN fittings before. I bought a kit to use for my trans lines on the LS Swap. After getting everything put together, I found the the fitting part just above where the hose connects is loose. It's not lose where the two pieces mate together, it's loose at the pipe piece just above...
Nothing wrong with the tank. I am going to run an external fuel pump, and the Walbro I have is not that noisy, used it to crank the motor while it was on a stand.
Those that switched to an LS, did you switch to a tank with a baffle in it? I'll be dropping the tank in the 73 to change the fuel sending unit to a three tube and would go ahead and change the tank to a baffled tank if need too. I'll be keeping the passenger side tank.
Yea, also stated he would trade for one with an LS swap, HAHAHAHAHA!. I'm almost done with my LS swap and have been offered 15K, but the guy was very drunk! Anyway, wouldn't even consider trading it for a crappy Miata.
