    I finally finished my cooling project, but not without incidents. We got back from Lawton around 6:30 yesterday evening so I thought I’d run the 2 remaining wires. Loosely ran the loom where I wanted it & cut the trigger wire to splice in the manual switch wire & the wire running to the light...

    Took a baby step tonight & got the tank plumbed. Also got the 2 wires run thru the loom. Hopefully will be able to get them secured inside the frame & connected tomorrow evening.

    Regrettably, not. Picking up the reducer I had to order today along with some wir loom for the 2 remaining wires. Hopefully Friday I can finish up before we head off to see the grandson Saturday. Embarrassing how something so simple has taken so long.

    I got life out of the way & hit the truck again today. Got the tank mounted, wires run & loomed & all tucked away. Still like the trigger wire & switch on wire.     Not done yet but the radiator, lines & hoses are finally mounted. Looking for some rubber cushions for over flow tank. Still need to pull the old fan wiring & install new harnesses. No tears on this project, but plenty of blood& sweat. Shoulda had this done in a weekend, but.....

    My power steering pump has been seeping a bit. Since I’m still waiting for a few things to come in I pulled it the other night to put a seal kit in it & repaint. Got a new pressure hose along with the return hose. Sure makes life easier with the radiator out too.

    A couple of packages were waiting on me when I got home. The 4-core rubbers fit like a glove. A better comparison on the thickness of the new core. Considering how bad the expansion tank was packaged it survived the shipment surprising well. I wasn't expecting it to be polished tho. Just stated...

    Yeah, one side has the hose from PCV going in. Since it comes in from the sides, heavy deposits of oil that's sucked in drop to the bottom. Fumes pass thru the other side into the intake to be burned off. Simple yet effective. I empty out as needed. Ya got me on that one:cool:
