I can't tell too much in the front, but it seems your front spring are short for some reason. The shackles look pulled forward instead of being close to vertical. Could just be optics. You could always get a shorter block in the rear with a taper to lower it and in the front take out a leaf...- Craig 85

What size tires for 4 inch lift?

Center dash speaker options?
Here's the bracket my '85 had a the front dash corners. If you don't have them you may need to fab something. I put my speaker on the under side of the bracket to clear the tweater (yes those screws got trimmed).- Craig 85

Rear Bumper difference?
This is the correct bumper for a step side of that era. A fleet side would look too squared off I believe and the sides extend closer to the fenders. -
Does a lift kit exist for 2wd 79 c10?
I know on our '89 Caprice police packages used the larger 1/2 ton brakes (12" rotors). I believe regular Caprices used 11". You may looks at some of the lift spindles for "B" GM cars. https://liftabrand.com/Product/4-12 These are 4.5"- Craig 85

Advice please
I'm a 4WD guy, so personally I'd go with the K5. A rust free K5 is a great starting point for someone. The nice thing is the patina is great on that truck, I would just due the mechanicals on it and clean up the interior. Door panel recommendation

2wd to 4wd conversion
K30 and K20 spring hanger are totally different. K30 are almost vertical. The K30 is mine. The shocks mount inside the frame due to the location of the spring. Shocks are also reversed from a K10/20. Blows Hot Air When Off?
There are some adjustments to the top of the heater box that close off the air flow from the heater core. I had this issue when I finally got the A/C hooked back up in my truck. I grabbed this off the internet. I believe in my case I needed to adjust the solid rod, just left of the circle. -

Stock 350 getting hot, but only on the highway with AC on
Do you have a 16 LBS radiator cap? Just ran into this with a friend that put A/C on his '62 Belair. No over heating issues until the A/C was installed/used. Previously he had a 13 LBS cap which was standard for a non-A/C car. With the new cap, no overheating.- Craig 85
