What have you done to your square lately??
Scraped more paint off the box side, mostly without the heat. It came off pretty easily except the areas that are still yellow. Gonna hit those with the heat gun tomorrow when the metal is a little colder to see if it lifts easier. This is a huge time saver. I’ll probably attack the fenders soon... -
DA New Pantina, at least temporarily
I despise sanding, already had to replace the compressor electric motor. I decided to try the harbor freight heat gun. Not sure if it’s because of the solar eclipse, the air temp, luck or all three but the 5 extra layers for the most part is scraping off fairly clean with some heat AND it’s so... -

Still sanding on the box, the thick enamel paint clogs the DA 80 grit paper too quickly. I mostly have the left side completed. Now to the right side, think I’m gonna try the mud hog with 40 grit to see if I can knock that enamel layer off quicker. I now have a much better understanding of how... -

Air Storage Tank Alternatives
I’ve had one since the mid 80s, rarely use it or should write that I haven’t used it since I stopped motocross racing. I used to bring it to the races to fix a flat, if needed. I recently purchased a M18 Milwaukee inflator so I doubt I will ever use it now. It was great back in the day.- mxer147

Diesel heater installation
Mounting an external heat source near the fuel tank and fill location is dangerous in my opinion; I would consider some extra safe guards to eliminate a potential accident if I decided the risk is worth the reward. In my opinion, money would be better spent purchasing a small portable generator...- mxer147

Installs to do before windshield?
Be sure the windshield mating surface is 100% solid and sealable. If you plan to paint and are doing a color change, paint now and it will be much cleaner than taping the windshield later. Those floorboards are toast, hopefully you will fix where the water entered, especially if it was from the... -

PO cut a hole on the hump and then put a piece of rubber over it so I fixed it right with a wire feed metal patch. Making some progress on the rest of the floor, hopefully soon I will be to put the doors back on. -

New door seals, new problems.
Lots of adjustments still needed before I’d worry about the seals. And, agree the hinges need to be tight and catch properly located.- mxer147

Made a little more progress on the floor pan after work today before it got dark. The first time I used the Cleco fasteners; wow, those are very useful. This AMD panel fits very well, I still need a little more trimming before I glue and rivet it together, I might hit it with the wire feed some too. -

Worked on the driver side floor pan fitment, still needs some trimming along the rocker panel. I also started on the dash pad transformation by removing the speaker cover material, sanding and filling the cracks with liquid nails. Gonna add some epoxy over that and sand smooth again while...
