What have you done to your square lately??

Down to metal.......... Looks pretty good except the passenger side. Guess the heater core has leaked at some point. May as well replace that while all the stuff is ripped out........... JIC

What have you done to your square lately??

Oh, Man ! That looks awesome. Great job on it. I gotta ask, did you paint the plastic trim? If so, what paint did you use? It matches really well. I tried the Dupli-Color "med blue" and it's a little lighter. Definitely inspirational !! Thanks for sharing.

    Southeastern Truck Nationals - SETN July 9th & 10th, 2021

Should be a great event once again. Probably near 1,000 GM trucks there. Lots of parts vendors too. Wilson County Fairgrounds (I-40, exit 239 at Hwy 70) Lebanon, TN https://gmtruckshow.com/?fbclid=IwAR0wFTo0cf_2MdLxyuAfK3JKxS34BUZ7d75j1hEqHMHAL1ibFroak4Luo0U

Good info........ But, can you verify the starter part numbers? The pic and write up have different numbers. Thanks for posting. It's good info.

What have you done to your square lately??

Cut off the rattling spare tire carrier so I can get to the rear end. Ordered $900 worth of chassis parts to begin that entire project. Of course it's the 90+ degree days of summer now. It'll be fun "they said."

Looking for tips to clean my headliner

Looking at the headliner in my ol' truck, doesn't look too awful. What is the best way to clean this? Looks kinda fragile to go scrubbing on it. I haven't taken it out yet. Sorry, should have added to "Interior" section.

What have you done to your square lately??

Compared to what most of you guys are getting done.......... it's a small thing. Taped off and repainted the fender badges. Small steps ! (The tabs on back of the badges were broken, someone had put the screws in there, but it works) Saved about $100 for new ones.

    Replacing window trim

Joshua, I just replaced the chrome strip on mine last week. Gotta have the tool mentioned above. I used spray detailer to "slick up" the track. It's easy to do, just take it slow and DON'T pry down on the chrome strip. Also, Brother's Parts on YouTube has good videos for this. BTW......... I'm...

What have you done to your square lately??

Ben, I got mine from LMC, several places have it. I believe it was about $40 for the front and back, total. It wasn't the toughest thing I ever did, but it is slow going. You gotta have the "locking strip" tool though. Jim
