    Last time I spoke to Randy he said their stuff was made in Taiwan but they wanted to move it all back to the US. That was almost 4yrs ago. Apparently they aren't any quicker with that either.

    Question on battery/starter

    Probably a stupid idea, but have you had the battery tested? The first battery I bought for my truck (Interstate from Costco) acted similarly. I took the battery to a shop to be tested and they said it was reading 1 - possibly 2 bad cells. Thing wasn't a month old.

    Just to wrap this thread.... @PrairieDrifter - you are correct. I found all my new mounts - the rubber is the same and the only difference is the length of the bolts. The radiator support bolts are longer.

    I'd still like to know what the difference between the green and the white is. 2 different PNs so gotta be something - unless one was a revision. ?! Whenever there is a self-tapping screw into plastic, I mic the inside flute of the screw and then use a drill that size to open up the plastic...

    The rad I have is a 3 core - Champion CC161. Maybe someone has already installed one and knows what works? The originals -might- actually work....just at first glance they dont look like it and everything is still too packed away to easily size it up.

    That top plate is awesome. Always liked those. Probably wont fit my 85 but that doesn't mean one cant be fabbed. Mine are 2 different brackets - right and left. The original radiator was on the wussy side as far as thickness (IMO). I got a Champion....3 (or 4?) core and by just looking at them...

    I actually ran a tap through everything to straighten and clean the threads once I got the originals out (they needed it too). They'll get lathered good with anti seize or some synthetic grease before going back together.

    Did GM make more than one style of radiator brackets for the squares? I'm using a thicker radiator than what came with the truck and if these dont fit, was wondering if perhaps the BB's or diesels had something different / larger or am I fabbing something up again? Thx

    You can adapt any switch you want but the one that was actually used in a square was from a 91 Suburban - same switch as in the mid 80s to mid 90s Buick Centuries, the Olds versions, etc. This is part 1 of 2. Guy does a decent job of describing it. I think in part 2 he shows the switch.

    I have the mounts - bought real rubber ones from (cant remember ATM) but took a good while to get them and they are every bit OE quality). LMC shows them as 2 different PNs for the bolts and the rubber cushions. I would guess the rad support bolts are longer and the rad support rubber a tad...
