Pumping Air to a Catalyst
You can wrap the exhaust pipes to the cats to warm up quicker and keep the exhaust gas temperatures high. After market race cats are pretty slim and could be mounted closer to the headers in your system.- ali_c20

Installing a new automatic choke on verajet carb?

Installing a new automatic choke on verajet carb?
You mean electric choke conversion ? Install the heated spring element, adjust it. Check that linkage is moving freely. Plug the heat pipe inlet at the choke housing otherwise you create a vacuum leak. If I forgot something more knowledgeable members will chime in. Carb manuals...- ali_c20

The bore of the stock manifold is 1.375 and the AVS2 has 1.44 but of the bore positions don't match. On the stock manifold with 4 holes you need the adapter. I use the thick gasket for some heat insulation. On Edelbrock spread bore manifolds there are no clearance issues. Sorry for double...- ali_c20

New Dual Tank Install....I have a question...?????
With new tanks and socks there is no need for a filter imo. I think they put that sticker on to avoid warranty claims when people change the valve on 40+ year fuel systems and it gets stuck after short time from dirt, rust and whatever.- ali_c20

K5 almost killed me brakes to the floor
If that would have happened to me I would check every single part of the brake system and replace everything that looks not 100% ok. I never had any issues with Acdelco Gold and Raybestos Element3. Is the work on remanufactured parts done in the US or are they shipped to Mexico, China, India...
