When I wired mine, every wall got two circuits. They leapfrog each other, so I can, for example, plug a miter into one and a small dust collector into the one next to it and not worry about overloading a 12 gauge/20 amp circuit. Except under windows, all outlets are just above waist height... -

legopnuematic, I added a cart, sized to the bin, under my nut/bolt/screw bin. That gives me a place to store boxes of screws and things. The big casters make it easy to move for re-arranging shop furniture. -

Bad ground strap to alternator
Because you have a future of dealing with fun stuff like this (obnoxious grounds), the good money is on that it would not be a bad idea to make a ground test cable to store along side your other test equipment. Uh, that would be me (that round thing). ONE thing that helps a lot, and we need to protect the rust on the truck anyway, is a HARBOR FREIGHT moving blanket. Doubled over, or even tripled, and it hood latch proofs the distributor projects. -

I have a crappy creeper (no, it's not my Uncle Jack). It doesn't roll well. I'm thinking of using some flip down leg hardware I have to make it usuable to fit into the engine compartment and, with the leg resting on the frame, lay on to work on things like the distributor. -

Question on the Comparison of a New, Quality Rag Joint to U-joint Coupler
AND, there is indication U-Joints are an All-Or-Nothing thing. That is, when they go, steering is gone. Rag joints just get sloppier and sloppier.- Dejure

I was installing my tie downs and discovered another ground inside the fender area. In light of all the mud, snow and rain that gets tossed there, it's amazing anything using that ground would work.- Dejure

Led headlight mod
Forty years ago, my aftermarket halogens were far brighter than stock lights. A single halogen put out about same as to stock sealed beam bulbs. Today, and LED's aside, nearly everything is halogen, whether sealed beam or not, so the swap would be not as notable.- Dejure

Aside that absurdly bright low beams belong in one of the owner's particular orifices, I upgraded the lights on my 69 step side to the component halogens, which were more powerful than the sealed beam. The only times I ever got flashed for high beams was, in the rain, and by the big trucks...- Dejure
