Renology makes 400 watt panels,(and others) and preemptively look like they will fit with the ac. Presently I have an Ienergy power station, it has worked good in the shop for a year now, but is only 1500 watt. I would like 3000-3500 watt system, and there are many and bigger out there, Bluetti...

Jan and I are still busy on the van, though haven't posted in a while. I bought a new remanufactured steering gear as the old one leaked and was loose. That should take 90% of the slop out. Also bought drip rail brackets, from K Suspension out of Idaho. These are just what I was looking for...

    The Quest For Overdrive . . .

Jjester, first, good to see you post, haven’t seen you in ages, we might run in different circles. I bought a 700r4 with a 208 transferred case for 450. I am going to put it in my C20 W/ the 6.2 diesel. It is two inches longer though, but that low first gear is a gem for towing. It’s strong...

I have found Repair tunnels, but they’re 400 bucks and I’m not paying that I’ll make my own. I used to work in a sheet metal shop. I know how to do that stuff. Had to stop work yesterday and push snow. We got 5 inches. Finish stripping the car yesterday.

I was hoping that folks would chime in, so thanks Perry. I am looking for something like that. The floor is easy, got an old crusty c20 hood I will use for that, and a few other spots. That should pretty much complete the body work. Then on to the fun stuff….

Our weather has been pretty inclement lots of rain and flooding. now at the 3000 foot level we’re supposed to get between 50 and 100 inches of snow the next few days. this is for real I’m at 2070 so we won’t get that much but we’re preparing. I’m ready. Got gas and fuel delivered yesterday. Got...

Got the car completely stripped nothing but the shell only thing I couldn’t get out was the key. Haven’t figured out how to get that sucker out of there. Looks like somebody went off-road with this car. It’s beat up underneath pretty bad. PO sure did a number on the transmission tunnel. I can’t...

    1946 Dodge Power wagon

I grew up with these. It was our hunting rig, and fed cattle in the winter. Every day in the winter I would come home from school and load 20 bales of hay from a 12 high (that's a long way down,) stack, chopping the top bales with an ax to get them loose. This is a very nice truck for it's age...

The goal today is to finish removing the undercoating and rough up the paint enough for my epoxy primer to stick on. There’s a lot of little nooks and crannies in the nova that are harder than heck to get to to clean them up and I’m fussy about stuff like that, but I will take my time and maybe...

New For Me 1985 Silverado 20 6.2 Diesel

A few more. In the first picture, on this side there is a flange that is built in. I had to cut out on both sides a 1/2 deep by 2inch long channel that allowed the bracket to fit up into the bed rails so I could drill the holes where I wanted on the frame. I haven't finished with the air hoses...

However, on the other hand, installing the airbags were kind of a pita, the passenger side has a bracket for the load sensing Brake proportion valve. It was right in the way, so you have to take those rivets out of there by grinding and then punching out. I then used those holes to bolt in the...

    PSI 8.8L big block

I have a BW475, that 480, even 6 lb of boost will make huge torque numbers, probably less HP, BUT, will pull a house. I sure would like to mess with one, never had a chance to machine a block like this..
