I restored these wonderful antique Dayton scales and would order tempered glass ovals and rounds for them from this company. Installed my transmission temperature gauge today. The Autometer literature recommended a “short” sending unit if installing it in a pressure test port so as to not bottom it out. I can say that a wire wheel on a drill motor does a great job of transferring grime from the transfer case to your body. I looked like I had changed races by the time I was done. :D -

I am planning to install a temperature sending unit in my TH350 and was leaning towards installing the unit in the 1/8” NPT pressure tap port, circled in yellow.
