Well I installed the new lock cylinder but it pulls right back out just like the old one without having to depressed anything. Any ideas why? -

As far as I'm aware it's never been removed it just started removing itself or coming unlocked out of the steering column, but this is the one that they say fits and the auto parts store sell the same style so maybe it will work just fine? -

The one to the upper left is the ignition switch I ordered off Amazon it clearly is different than the one I took out of the truck. I don't want to put this cylinder in there and then have it get locked in without being able to remove it. -

The new turn signal module arrived today it's the pretty one on the right that clip on the harness is twice as long as the original one on the left, does anyone know if it will still plug into the chassis harness or do I got to do some finagling? Turn signal assembly
Since it's a dual wheel truck it does have lights on the sides of the wheels, but my current turn signal only has eight wires, where would I find a harness with corner cornering wires?- fnny6770

Complete wire diagram
I have a 1980 GMC k3500 Sierra classic camper special, I would like to find a complete wiring diagram to this truck, some of the ones I found look clear from a distance but when you zoom in they get all blurry, where can I find a decent wiring diagram?- fnny6770

The one I took out has it press in tab as part of the cylinder, not held in by a screw. -

My harness only has eight wires, the socket was broken on the far left so two wires fell out easily- fnny6770

You need to be more clear about what you're referring to here, if I order a harness for my turn signals everything should come with it I shouldn't have to add three extra wires just to power my trucks turn signals.- fnny6770

My 1980 GMC K3500 is in need of the turn signal assembly in the steering wheel replace, but the ignition cylinder can be pulled out so I'm thinking of changing it, is it very hard changing the cylinder? Right now you don't need a key to start the truck if you wanted. It is not a tilt steering... -
