Further VIN questions. all chassis VINs just partials?

Further VIN questions. all chassis VINs just partials?
Thanks for all the help on my other posts guys, really appreciate it. I have had a search through the forum for VIN locations and now know where to look on the chassis but all the examples given are just partials. Is the complete VIN not stamped on the chassis? Ideally i need it to tell me...- Jordi

Not the best image but at a push i’d say it matches the glovebox VIN and the VIN on the documents i have.- Jordi

Awesome help chaps! Yes I think it’s a bit of a frankenstein too! I have a photo of the VIN on the dash but it is unreadable, looks like multiple layers of paint. Need to have a look in person. The VIN i have got is off its UK registration documents and MOT certificates. Any chance of a...- Jordi

The question marks related to my whole decoding of the whole VIN. It is a 6.2 diesel 5th digit is cab / chassis layout. I thought C was RWD and K 4WD?? This is definitely 4WD and i want to know if there will be a VIN on the chassis somewhere so i can confirm if its an original K series or...- Jordi

Got some further details of a K10 i’m looking at but the VIN appears incorrect. 2GCEC14C1C1216200 If i’m reading it correctly Canadian built, C10, 6.2 diesel??? If anyone can confirm that would be great. Also is there a VIN number stamped on the chassis anywhere? Reason I am querying it...- Jordi

Issues with being stood for a long time?
Thats my aim. In the UK i can get a drive away C10 for £8000 to £20,000, all seem in decent condition. The £20k motors are modded, tuned, fully restored (K10s seem a bit rarer). I’d like to get this for less than £5k under the presumption it may need a moto rebuild and definitely needs tyres... -

Issues with being stood for a long time?
Couple of poor picture, its just had loads of stuff piled up around it while it’s been sat. Its a very cool looking truck. The price has to be absolutely bang on for me to make the risk is worth it. I’m waiting for more details about it as i know nothing about them. Its diesel so presuming... -
