    You have an '86, mine is a '78. It's a little different as I believe you might have an actuator. You also have different panels on the interior. The linkage might be the same. I can take a pic of my door during lunch.

    I'm sure it was. I can make a piece but I don't know how it attaches to the lock mechanism. It doesn't have any threads for a nut or grooves for a C-clip or holes for a cotter pin lol I'm assuming it was one of those spring nuts that just push on and dig in but no one sells stuff to fix these...

    My Burb is the same way. I have the sticker on the drivers door but neither have that brace. Too bad too because the passenger side is very flimsy around the door handle.

    Lol, I've asked that before also. I have the upper and lower latch and rods but everything off the lock mechanism is gone. Not sure how to connect it or what is supposed to be there. Looks like there is supposed to be a 90 degree piece to move the plate up and down but not sure what it looks...

    I have the controller, servo, servo to carb rod, I still have the carb so I can get whatever bracket is on there, controller plug with wiring, brake switch and the vacuum switch that was next to the brake switch but it had a welded on piece to activate that. Not sure what factory looked like...

    This is from my '75, which recently became a parts truck instead of a wheeler project. I got the cruise module out of a '98 Suburban that I'm going to try and make work with the factory cruise/turn signal switch in my '78 Suburban so this is just kind of laying around.

    You are correct. I was confusing them with the El Camino which had rectangular amber lenses for the base model and round amber for the Malibu/SS. The Chevelle had clear lenses for the base model and amber for the Malibu/SS.
