Also, at Napa, don't buy by the foot. If you can handle 20 or 50 feet, a whole "box" is about the cost of 10 feet. This applies with all hoses, loom, and more. -

First off, if its coming from a dealer, you need to have it thoroughly mechanically gone through. Second, Keep both. One or the other will need service at times, and you will be unable to drive. So, keep the honda and the truck. If you cannot afford, your wife is right.- justhorns

So, I fixed a rattle in my dash. The brake release bracket became loose where it bolts in immediately behind the dash. Rattle gone. I then screwed around with my hood, which was up on one side, and could be pushed down. I tried raising the rubber stop, which did not help. Lowering the latch... -

Doesn't look like these will work with roll up windows, or at least you will have to take the cup out to roll the window up. Just be careful out there.. They look nice, but, only for power windows. Sorry. I also am fighting the cup holder battle. -
Jack question
I didn't have any of the jack parts so I have a scissor jack behind the seat, and I installed a shelf using those two bolts. I use it for tools when I'm working on it. May make a bolt on box to hold oil and coolant some day.- justhorns

Thanks bextreme04, the gear driven actuator I got was from Chevy, and a chevy part. It plugged straight into the existing wiring. Never had a problem getting 4wd again. No idea what the part # was. -

Ratio is usually stamped on the outside of the ring gear. Zoom in and you can see 13 40 next to GM 40 teeth on ring gear, 13 on Pinion, 40/13 =3.08- justhorns

LMC pre bent fuel and brake lines
I bend whatever I need myself. I do this frequently in my shop, so I have a good flare tool and buy the line in Sticks, or get a roll when I need more that 3 or 4 feet.- justhorns

Varajet Idle stop solenoid part number
The bolt pattern on this Varijet II carb is weird, and you have to change the manifold, as there are no adapters available that I could ever find. The manifold is the head (they are integral) and you need to change the entire engines cylinder head, which I have, but After starting the new head...- justhorns

I went through the Rochester manual on the carb, and the part numbers aren't listed. So, I have to take my truck apart to get at it. Luckily, I am going to remove the carb for other work (i need to adjust idle mixture) in a few days. Can you wait a few days for the number (if there is one)- justhorns

Where to go for alignment?
I paint two parallel lines on the garage floor, usually 72" apart. One side must be perfectly straight. I paint the lines with a level or other long straight edge. Perhaps for a square you may need more that 72", like 75". Drive the truck between the lines. I use a carpenters square to measure...- justhorns

Tuning- A few months ago I rebuilt the carb (on my 81 250) and removed the emission equipment that wasn't working. Now, with winter weather, it was really rough cold. Adjusted the choke and hooked up the carb preheat. Added about 10Degrees of ignition timing and wow! I'm not sure how it starts... -

New crate engine oil priming/ ignition timing impact if the distributor is mis-installed
Because it’s easy. Just make sure on any new engine start that you immediately have oil pressure. No gauge? Don’t do it!- justhorns
