one piece or two piece vent windows?

I usually use the silicone line spray and some heat if I’m really struggling. I guess I’m also an outlier that uses a screwdriver. your thumbs will hurt for a few days after the jobs done LOL.

I know whenever they need the call as proof they can unbury it from 27 years ago. But if it benefits me it’s been lost. LOL.

Air Spring kit Major Fabrication Required

It’s not usually the “wheel adapters” that go. It’s the studs that snap. And I’m glad your experience was different. But I have seen a few break. Some were burn outs , studs shear. And some were while towing. That popped out wheel look is popular out here But depending on Weight of the truck and...

Air Spring kit Major Fabrication Required

No welding doesn’t make it hard LOL. It makes it impossible if the wheel spacer idea doesn’t work. but seeing as how you put air springs on it for load assist I think spacers are probably not a good idea.

Inner Rocker, Outer Rocker, Inner Cab Corner, Kick Panel & Floor Replacement

I am surprised to see lap welds being used in a place that rusts as much as yours did! Are you going to weld underneath to close the laps? Or coat the bottom with some spray on skin insulator thing? I think even the 2k epoxy or some POR15 would help seal it. Looks like it’s coming together...

    Wood heater/stove. What y'all think?

Granted I don’t know shit... but I do some plumbing. The flue doesn’t need a slope to guide the smoke?

    gauge cluster mods

Some good lookin gauges on here. I did the suburban gauges. But with the LS engine I’m maxed out on the speedo, driving down the freeway.

What have you done to your square lately??

Finally got around to cleaning up the wires. Got rid of the crimp connections and soldered everything. Also had to offset my cruise control bracket to fit correctly.

    Wheel squeaking.

I went ahead and put new bearings/races in and had the rotor turned. Haven’t had much chance to try again. Last time I repacked them it took a week for it to make the sound again. Hopefully I pinned it down. When I turn it’s almost guaranteed it’ll make the sound. But it will also do it if I’m...

    Driver kick panel trim options

The ones I had from a 73 and a 78 are like the top left one posted. They’re short. They sell carpet that you can glue under it. But I haven’t seen one that’s got the flapper and goes down to the floor like you want.

To touch on this a bit. Even if the truck DOESNT have power locks you can still install an aftermarket one for an alarm/ remote start.

    Wheel squeaking.

While rolling... my truck squeaks. It’s low and long... It does seem speed related. I pulled the rotor... greased it and it went away for a while. Now it’s back. It squeaks more frequently while turning. Again I’m pretty sure it’s the bearing... They’re not that old. Maybe a year or so... One...
