    What kind of shift lever is this?

    I spotted the shifter on a Marketplace listing of a truck for sale. I inquired a while ago, and here is what they just said: "The shift lever is the stock Eaton-Fuller cut down in length to fit the cab" Does that sound right? If so, will it work on a 77 K5?

    Na, that wont work. The rusty EGR bolts have a different thread pitch than what would be on an LS. He would never be able to install the rusty EGR bolts on the new motor....

    If the bolts snap off, you may be able to "glue" the plate on with the high temp gasket sealer.

    Fuel tank under vacuum, starving the fuel system? Test: Drive with fuel cap loose or removed.

    Perhaps there is a fuel shortage or something going on with the weights inside the distributor.

    Need help identifying 12v wire for electric choke

    The closest and easiest 12V that I found is the + wire on the distributor. That wire only has power when the rig is running, and is less than a foot away from the choke. The wire that says "BAT".
